Doctoral student in Applied Linguistics at Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV). I work on Critical Discourse Analysis, focusing mainly on migration discourse on digital platforms, and I also use AI and NLP tools for tasks such as annotation and large-scale text analysis.
My work sits at the intersection of qualitative and computational approaches, especially corpus-based analysis, discourse annotation, and machine learning methods, to explore how language is used to represent people, reproduce bias, and shape ideology online.
I’m also really interested in theoretical linguistics, especially generative grammar and Universal Grammar, and how formal approaches to language might connect (or not) with computational models.
On the side, I like exploring more speculative and interdisciplinary topics, such as xenolinguistics, semiotics, and communication in non-human contexts.
Happy to connect with researchers, PhD students, or anyone working in discourse analysis, computational linguistics, theoretical linguistics, or related areas. I’m always open to exchanging ideas, joining reading groups, or collaborating on small projects while learning.
I hope to hear from you soon! Regards :)
