Dear colleagues, The deadlines for UniAgent have been extended: registration is open until October 3. UniAgent is the 1st Shared Task on Agentic AI in University Administration, held at CIKM 2026 in Rome. UniAgent works toward a digital twin of a university. We prepare its administrative tasks, rules, and documents so that agents can work on them, and we evaluate these agents. A university suits this goal: its processes are standardized, its rules are written down, and its experts are close at hand. THE TASK An agent receives a real, anonymized case from the University of Kassel, in business travel, privately advanced costs, or procurement. The agent retrieves the regulations that apply, plans the required steps, and produces a solution that an administrator would accept, for example a compliant travel request. Not every case can be approved as submitted. Agents must recognize such cases and give a reason. ACL has discontinued making available a submission template for Microsoft Word. Therefore, we strongly recommend using the above LaTeX template with Overleaf, which enables WYSIWYG editing. While we intend to help accepted authors convert their paper into a format acceptable for ACL Anthology, we may not be able to resolve all potential discrepancies. Short Paper: Short paper submissions must describe original and unpublished work. They are max. 4 pages excluding references and sections on ethical consideration and limitations. A short paper is not a shortened long paper. Instead, short papers have a small, focused contribution or describe work in progress (“working paper”). Recommended topics for short papers include pilot studies, negative results, opinion pieces, interesting application nuggets, or descriptions of initial collaborative teamwork. B. Long Paper: Long papers must describe substantial, original, completed and unpublished work. Long papers are max. 8 pages excluding references and appendices and sections on ethical consideration and limitations. Wherever appropriate, concrete qualitative and quantitative evaluation and analysis should be included. Naturally, the evaluation of a collaborative process may take a different form in comparison to that of a language-technological app or tool. SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPATION We may be able to provide some support for the participation of individuals without institutional support. Authors will be provided information on how to submit an application for such support after they have submitted an abstract or paper to the workshop. PROCEEDINGS The Organizing Committee will select from the papers (excluding all abstracts) that have been accepted for presentation at the workshop for online publication via the open-access ACL Anthology. Not all accepted papers for presentation are guaranteed inclusion in the publication. Long and short papers that are accepted for publication will be allotted one additional page (altogether 5 and 9 pages) excluding references and ethics and limitations sections. Papers accepted for inclusion in the Anthology must be revised versions of the work that underwent ComputEL-10 review. Revisions and improvements should address reviewer comments or add relevant details and clarifications, but should not include entirely new, unreviewed content. Up to 100 preprints get a free review from an independent human expert in the field, who we pay $200 to answer the question every author wants answered: does this paper have the potential to be published in the journal or conference I am aiming at?
