The workshop will examine topics spanning artificial intelligence, social media, network science, computational social science, natural language processing, and media literacy. A particular focus will be placed on understanding how interactions between social media, traditional news media, and official government communications shape the epistemic environment in which individuals and communities evaluate the reliability and truthfulness of information.
