We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to projects related to perspectivist NLP. We are looking to better understand what we need to know about an individual to better predict how they will label subjective data for a variety of tasks.
We are researchers at McMaster University, located in Hamilton, Ontario. You will be primarily working with Prof. Charles Welch and will be expected to work on projects that involve other faculty members both at the university and within our broader network.
Ideal candidate should have:
- a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics/NLP, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields.
- Excellent programming skills in Python.
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of current neural network models and implementation tools for neural networks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience with publications in top-tier venues in the field of NLP/Computational Linguistics.
