The Call for Papers and Call for Reviewers are now open for the NeurIPS 2026 Workshop on AI and the Self: Human Identity, Authenticity, and Agency in the Age of AI.

The workshop explores how AI shapes identity, agency, authenticity, memory, learning, creativity, and human flourishing. We welcome interdisciplinary submissions, early findings, works in progress, and new research directions.

Paper deadline: August 24, 2026

Workshop: December 12 or 13, 2026
