A PhD position (4-year FPI contract) is available at the UNED NLP & IR group, within the framework of the ANNOTATE research project, carried out in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Universitat Politècnica de València. The PhD research will focus on Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence, with particular emphasis on the analysis and detection of sexism in digital and multimedia environments, combining multimodal data and explainable, socially responsible AI approaches. The doctoral work will contribute to the development of a Sexism Observatory, an interactive platform for large-scale detection, analysis, and visualization of sexist content. The position is aimed at candidates with a background in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, strong Python programming skills, and a good command of English.
