We invite applications for a PhD student position in the Cognitive Science program at Rochester Institute of Technology. The PhD student will be involved in grant-funded research on American Sign Language, including prosody and non-manual markers.

The position expects fluency in American Sign Language. A background in linguistics, cognitive science, and/or computing is preferred.

Deaf/hard-of-hearing candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
