We are offering a 2-year postdoc position in the Computer Science Department of the University of Turin, Italy, in the context of the project POPULUS, funded by Amazon Alexa and Compagnia di San Paolo. The project concerns the development of perspectivist NLP methods for the analysis of pragmatic phenomena in language, such as irony, sarcasm, offensiveness or hate speech.

The project is highly interdisciplinary, with a team of five University researchers led by Valerio Basile in collaboration with a research team from Amazon Alexa. A PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related areas is highly recommended. Knowledge of Italian is not mandatory. The deadline for application is *December 22nd* 2022. The Content-centered Computing group ( https://cs.unito.it/do/gruppi.pl/Show?_id=453y) is a research group at the Department of Computer Science focused on the study and the development of "content items". The group is highly inter- and trans-disciplinary, with interests in Computational Linguistics, Multimedia, Cognitive Science, Semantic Web, and more, as well as the creation of language resources and the organization of evaluation campaigns.
