we have an opening for a *fully funded **PhD student or postdoc* position in*NLP & Cognitive Modeling* at Saarland University, Germany.
The position is affiliated with the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1102, a thriving research environment with 38 PhD students and 9 postdocs investigating language from a variety of computational and cognitive angles.
The successful applicant will be supervised by Prof. Michael Hahn, and have the opportunity to collaborateclosely with other researchers at the CRC and at Saarland University.
The successful applicant is expected to have a strong background in natural language processing using neural networks, and a strong interest in language or cognition.

The successful applicant is expected to have: •an excellent academic track record •a strong background in natural language processing using neural networks •excellent programming skills and quantitative skills •a strong interest in language or cognition •full professional proficiency in spoken and written English
